The following are the results of the local elections for Ward 8 – Mid Formartine

Jim GIFFORD  Scottish Conservative and Unionist. Elected at stage 5
Allan HENDRY  Scottish National Party (SNP). Elected at stage 1
Paul JOHNSTON  Independent. Elected at stage 1
Cryle SHAND  Scottish National Party. (SNP) Elected at stage 7

Eliminated

Braden DAVY  Scottish Labour Party. Eliminated at stage 4
Jeff GOODHALL  Independent. Eliminated at stage 3
John Kevin LOVEDAY  Scottish Liberal Democrats. Eliminated at stage 6

Litter pick success

The eco group at the academy held a litter pick on Sat 28th.

The event was well attended with a good turnout of senior pupils and a number of adults.

The great news is they collected lots of rubbish. The bad news is theres lots left!

There will be more litter picks in the future.

The Ecogroup at the Academy are organising a litter pick by the pupils Saturday 28th April from 10am-1pm. The school run this every year however they welcome participation by other residents in the community. Community Council AGM

Oldmeldrum, Daviot & Bourtie Community Council AGM will be held at 7:00pm, Tuesday 28th February 2012 at Oldmeldrum Lower Townhall.

The Community Council meetings are public events, all are welcome to attend.

Conservation Meeting
